At BCT, we take into consideration every element about your event in order to create an invitation/stationary that is the perfect complement. However, because each custom design is completely unique, the pricing is unique as well and is done on a per project basis.
At BCT, we realize that budgets can fluctuate. Therefore, it is at this point in the process that we will be happy to make any changes to the estimate and offer up ways, if necessary, that you can save on you custom invitations by making small changes, without sacrificing design. Feel free to call and discuss, as we strive to make the estimates customizable as well!
How to Order
Once you have had a chance to review and approve the estimate, let us know by phone or email and we will email you a pdf contract.
Before any design work can begin, we must receive your signed contract with a 50% deposit, payable by cash, credit card, paypal, or money order. Please note that credit cards are paid with Square and do incur a 2.75% handling fee.
Final payment (plus any applicable tax and shipping/delivery charges) must be paid in full at the time your invitations are ready to go to print. Invitations will not be shipped/delivered until full payment is received.
Proofread, Proofread, Proofread
Once you have received your final proof for print approval, gather a bunch of your best proofreaders to proofread, proofread, proofread!!! This is very important! Once your final approval for print is given, BCT is not responsible for any formatting and/or typographical errors on the final product. All errors, including spelling, punctuation, layout, format and typestyle are the full responsibility of the client. No exceptions. If you should choose to reprint due to an error of any kind, you are responsible for 100 percent of the reprint, reproduction and labor costs.
If an error is made on our part, were the final printed product differs from the approved proof, we will be happy to reprint at no additional cost to you in order to fix the error.
Your Invitation Design
Once we have received your contract and deposit the design process will begin! We will email you a form that you will need to fill out and return to us via email, outlining the details needed for your stationary. From this point on we will be in regular contact regarding your design proofs and any missing information that we may need. The timing for each custom design process varies, depending on the intricacy and complexity of your particular design. However, you can expect the process from beginning to end to take approximately 3 months. In most cases, rush orders can be accommodated for an additional charge.The first draft of you design will be emailed in a color pdf to you. The colors, paper and printing process will be outlined as well. This will be your opportunity to make any edits or design changes. We can discuss your revisions over the phone or via email, however we prefer email as it lends to fewer editing errors. Once we have received your changes we will send you either a second proof or your second design based on you feedback. Once the invitation design has reached your approval, we will send you a “final approval” email that you must sign off on in order to go to printing.
Regarding Cancellations
Should you choose to cancel your order before printing/production of your invitations has begun BCT will retain the 50 percent deposit. Should you choose to cancel your order after printing/production begins, BCT will retain 100 percent of the contract.
